Plate Tectonics lets shift in to gear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey you Yeah you I have a question what is Pangaea???? Well Pangaea was formed along time ago it was when all of the continents were one big continent so basically you could walk to Italy with out crossing the ocean. Really what did Pangaea look like? It looks like this.

Many scientist believe that this could happen again in a few millions years. Really well why do they think that?? Because it happened once before it could happen again the earth changes everyday they never know what it gonna happen to the earth. WOW!!!! Yeah wow is right now I'm going to tell you what I'm really here to talk about its called Plate Tectonics its what shifts under the earth. I did not know that anything shifted under the earth. Well Plate Tectonics do here this is what they look like.

Did you like that guy's Australian voice??? Yeah!!!! Ok then when plate tectonics shift it happens way far down that is why we can't feel it. Do you know what causes earth quakes??? Plate tectonics?? Right good job. Plate tectonics also cause mountains to be formed. Ok now I will name different types of plate tectonics. Pacific plate , Antarctic plate , North American plate , Indian Australian plate , African plate , Eurasian plate , Nazca plate , and the South American plate. Now that you know all about plate tectonics I would like to tell you a little more about Pangaea but sense you know what Pangaea means I'm going to tell you who figured out Pangaea. Ok who figured it out?!!? I'm getting to that!!!! The guy who discovered it was Alfred Wagner and he saw that South Africa could fit perfectly to Africa and he also found fossils in one contenent that did not belong where he found them. At first everybody laughed at his theory now he is famous for what he did. To sum up the earth it goes crust,mantle,outer core and inner core. Crust is what we stand on. Under the crust is the mantle it is cool/warm. The outer core is under the mantle and it is very hot. The inner core is under the outer core and it is scalding hot don't touch it haha!!! MY AWESOME SUMMER!!!!!!!!!

My awesome summer was so much fun!!!!! I got to hang out with my friends and go swimming and allot of other stuff!!! The best part of my summer was going to summer camp at woodruf. That camp is for boy scouts FYI it is not as boring as you think it is lolz..... Anyway allot of my friends go to boy scouts with me so we all got to go to camp together that's why it was so much fun!!!! Here is what the camp looks like.

This camp was allot of fun we got to go white water rafting and take merit badge classes. It was allot of fun I will be going there next year and the year after that.

When I wasn't hanging out with my friends I was at home relaxing and playing video games and txting the stuff I usually do. I went to the pool a hole lot because me and my family are members to midtown athletic club.

It is really fun there they have an out door pool a indoor pool. They also have a weight room , basketball Cort ,track tennis they have all of it!!!!!! That is where I spent most of my time. I did not go on vacation this summer because we are going In September with my grandma.

When I had nothing to do this is the game I played.

This game is so awesome!!!!!!11!

Over all I had a pretty good summer and I hope it comes back soon because I like it better than school don't tell Mr.Sellers lolz. The thing that I want to accomplish this school year is to get better in math I am going to try harder and focus the same goes to every other class!!! AMPHIBIAN'S ARE AWEASOME.COM

Today I'm going to tell you about amphibian's and there characteristics. They have slimy skin and some can be poisonous the main amphibians that's are poisonous are the frog's. There are newts ,caecilians , salamanders and as you all know the frog's. I'm going to talk about a different  kind of frog salamander newt a caecilian. First the frog the red eyed tree frog this is what it looks like. This frog has really sticky fingers so it can climb trees without falling. It has moist slimy skin and this one is not poisonous.


The newt I'm going to talk about is the red spotted newt and this is what it look's like. This one also likes to climb up trees like the red eyed tree frog. Like all amphibians it has slimy skin and you can see that it is red and has spots on it.

The toad I'm going to talk about is the brown toad and this is what it look's like.

 

If your wondering the small brown one is the toad just so you know hahahah!!!!!! The toad had bumby skin that is moist. There defense is peaing. Im serious it peas when it is scared.

Now I'm going to talk about the cecilian and it look's like a snake.

FISH ARE AWESOME.COM

First of all let me start by saying fish are awesome!!!!!!! Each day I am going to talk about a new different fish I will warn you the fish are going to be weird in there own way. Today is the hag fish and this is what it looks like. Hag fish release a special slime to defend there self's against predators. They are part of the jaw less group but they still have special teeth at the bottom of there mouth so when the suck on things they can still grind the food to digest it.

The next fish I'm going to talk about is the seahorse. The seahorse is a fish in the sea that looks very different from other fish this is why check out this picture. This is just one of the many species of seahorses there are 35 different kinds of seahorses WOW!!! That's cool I mean 35!!!! This is really weird the female seahorse give the eggs to the male seahorse in his pouch to the male is pregnant WHAT A DUDE BEING PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!

The next fish I'm going to talk about the puffer fish and the puffer fish is a fish that inflates himself with water and makes himself big and this is what it look's like.

The puffer fish can be dangerous to humans if it is  a poisonous one. There is a lot of different kinds of puffer fish. The puffer fish reproduces by the female swims to the surface and drops the egg and the male lets his sperm go on the egg. Then is is fertilized. 


The next fish is the flying fish well you might  think that the fish actually fly's well sorry it doesn't fly. It only glides on the water to get away from its predator. Its predator is usually a dolphin. Well any way this is what the flying fish look's like.


The next fish I'm going to talk about is the salmon and this is what it look's like.

The fish can get to be that big. They spawn by swimming back to where they were born and they lay there eggs there. They are salt water and fresh water fish. The babies have yolk sacks so they don't havft to find food till there older.

Sharks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!JAWS!!!!!!!

Hey what's up today I'm going to talk about sharks. They they have a really bad reputation for being mean bad and evil because they bite peoples legs and arms off.. Well they do sometimes but it is very rare you guys should not be worried about anything because sharks only attack when they are violated or they are hungry. The main people who get bit by sharks are surfers because sharks confuse them for seals. They don't even like to eat humans they mite nibble you and swim away but like I said don't worry swim in groups and don't go to far out in the ocean when you swim and you will be fine.. Most people are scared of sharks because of this movie and book.

 This movie and this book made everybody scared of sharks and the people who saw the movie told other people and they got scared. What I'm trying to say is stay away from sharks but don't be scared of them :) 

Ok now I'm going to tell you about sharks. Sharks have gills just like any other fish they have perfect site perfect hearing and a perfect sense of smell. In clear water sharks can see there pray from 100 feet away. They can smell a little bit of blood from miles away.YEA WOW!!!. Sharks skin is covered in some sort of tooth like scales called (dermal denticales).  

Before I get into the shark I'm going to talk about I am going to tell you the three main sharks that you need to stay away from!!!! 1st we have the tiger shark , 2nd we have the Great white shark , 3rd we have the bull shark. The tiger shark has stripes going down his back. The great white shark is big and fat. The bull shark has a blunt snout and usually swims in shallow water. All sharks lay eggs and the reproduce sexually when they lay there eggs they either leave them or eat them.

I'm going to talk about one specific shark and that is the tiger shark and this is what it look's like.

They call him a tiger shark because of the things on him that look like stripes. This particular shark is very aggressive and this is one of the sharks that is dangerous if you mess with it SO JUST DON'T MESS WITH IT OK!!!!!!!!! This shark is common in the Atlantic ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. Tiger sharks are really fast swimmers they are known to travel far places in a short amount of time. The tiger shark is 1500 pounds WOW!! They can go up to 13 feet long they can swim up to 30, 35 miles per hour. They eat other sharks , crabs , turtles and fish. They  hunt at night like most sharks do. This is a really cool fact are you ready they can actually change color from green to blue. 


All sharks have a big perpose on earth and stay away from them but don't be scared of them. Just swim in groups and swim close to the shore and you will be fine!!!!!

Fish and what makes them fish!!!!

 Hey today I'm going to talk a little about fish and what makes them fish.. First of all you may think that fish live in water and that's all  well that is true but there is more to it than just where they live. The have gills and gills are like lungs but the let out water after the fish either swallows it or swims with its mouth opened. The fish  whole Circulatory system and when the water is done it comes out the gills.

FISH!!!!

 Some fish fish have scales and some have slimy skin and most fish are vertebrates witch means they have a backbone. The fish have scales because its easier for them to glide threw water another word for glide threw the water is streamlined and that means basically glide.


Another really cool fact about fish is that they sleep I bet you didn't think that they sleep well they do well not the same way as us. Fish don't have eye lids so when they sleep they stay still and their eyes stay opened. Do you see how the fish looks like he is swimming he is not he is asleep and his eyes are closed and he is just floating with the current.

Dolphins a mammal

All fish are cold blooded and  that means that they cant make there own heat as humans we can make our own heat. Some fish are mammals and some fish are not mammals if your a mammal you breath air so we breath air whales breath air and dolphins breath air.




When fish die they can either decnigrate or they turn in to fossils and a fossil is a rock that a fish died on or under and it molds the bones on the rock or fishes skin can just rot off and the bones are just lost in the ocean. 


 When fish die they become buoyant and that means that they rise to the surface because all of the air in the fishes body inflates and makes the fish rise to the surface.

This particular fish was washed up on the shore after it died and floated to the shore.


 Cartilaginous fish have cartilage and it is like bone but it is softer humans have bone here is an example of what a cartilaginous fish looks like

That was fish at the aquarium and it shows different kinds of fish I  think it is AWESOME. 






Lamprey fish are fish that are jaw less and they have teeth on the bottom of there mouth and they latch on to the things they eat and the     
teeth grind them and they eat them they look weird like this

Classification for Animals!!!!!!!!!

Hey today I'm going to talk about classifications for animals and the main one I'm going to talk about is the tiger.

As you can see SPECIES is the last one on the chart well a tiger is gonna be in the species of cores. The reason why it would be in species is because all animals are species so all animals would be in the species category. Now you can probably see the GENUS category   
right above the species category the tiger and allot of other animals would be in that category. The classification for the tiger in the genus category would be ''Panthera'' for example the classification for the dog in this category would be ''Yorkshier terrior''.

This is the tiger also known as the jungle cat...

This is the Siberian tiger and they like to lay under shade and swim in the water.

That video tells what all of the classifications are in a pretty short time.


For the family species it would be called FELIDEA that is a weird word but that's what it is. In the order category it would be called CARNIVORE and that means and animal that eats meat.


For the order species it would be called MAMMAILIEA that again is a interesting name. 

6 Kingdoms~of life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE SIX KINGDOMS OF LIFE!!!!!

What's up!!!! Today I'm going to talk about the 6 kingdoms of life and how they are classified in to different Kingdoms....

Plant Kingdom-Are made up of many cells that have an outer cell wall another thing they have is a membrane bound nucleus.....WHAT... All plants make there food by Photosynthesis. Most of the groups are mosses, flowering plants and conifers.

Fungi Kingdom-Contains single-celled organisms that reproduce by spores. It also has cells that are surrounded by wall's , like plants. Fungi has  no Chlorophyll so basically what that means is that is can't make its own food. Most fungi are decomposed in the food chain one celled-organism is (unicellular ed)

Protists Kingdom-Is made up of  Unicellular which is one celled. The nucleus of a protists cell is enclosed in a nuclear  membrane...WOW.. You learn something new everyday!!!!hahah... Anyway  some prostist such as the paramecium, and the aomeba feed on other living things. Some like algea make there food from photosynthesis.

Archeabacteria Kingdom-This kingdom is only made of one celled organisms. These kind of cells are not called (Prokaryotes). They use energy to grow and develop..... Some can be found in really hot water cause that's how they get there energy for some of them at least. They have been placed into a separate kingdom because it has a different chemical. The way their there genetics material reproduces is different to.

Eubacteria Kingdom-It can not make its own food.. It must find its own food like some of the other kingdoms. They are chemically similar to other kingdoms but not archaebacteria. I know that it is really boring right now but our next kingdom is the animal kingdom and I don't think you will be bored with that.

Animal Kingdom-Is a kingdom that is made up of many cells. These cells have a nucleus that is contained in side a thing called a membrane. As humans we are part of the animal kingdom not the plant kingdom just so that doesn't get confused:). Animals are divided in to groups , invertebrates things with out a backbone and vertebrate's have back bones.   For example snakes are invertebrates because they don't have a backbone. Well a dog is a vertebrate because it does have a backbone.

The change in your life get ready!!!!!!!

Hello there I'm going to teach you about the change,and when i say change I mean puberty. It is the thing that you go threw when you are at an older age like for girls 11,12 and for boy's about 12,13. When you reach puberty you mature,your voice gets deeper, your grow hair under your arms and you grow Brest.


Puberty would be nothing with out the pituitary gland, the pituitary gland is the thing that sits up in your brain about in the center.

That thing that the square is around is the gland it releases chemicals 
into you body when you are ready for them.


Now we are going to talk about the Pancreas.

This is the Pancreas and it is an organ in your belly that lets out hormones and insulin. Your pancreas is really important because without it you could have diseases in your body. The main reason why you need it is because like I said it releases hormones and insulin and you need all of that to live and grow up

That was a short video to make what I was saying in a better way something like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-) OK what I'm trying to say is the pancreas is really important so love your pancreas!!!!!!!!!!!!


We are going to move into diabetes you have probably herd of it before. If not pay attention it is a decease that you can either get from eating too much sugar,or you can inherit it from your patents. The people who mainly have it are obese or they don't move around much and eat allot of junk.

Those are diabetes and you really really really don't want to get them!!!!!!!!!!!! But if you do get them don't worry people with diabetes can live a completely normal life you just have't to eat right and you might have to take a shot or and prick in your finger but it doesn't hurt but a little bit and you will get used to it.


We are now moving into the Thyroid Gland and it is just under your wind pipe and your throat.This is the Thyroid and what it does is control your mood, like when your sad or really happy....Like if you just got a new phone or laptop or if you made a 100 on Mr.Sellers test!!!!!!!And if you are sad like if you don't make a 100 on Mr.Sellers test.
